Hello! my name is Hana Rashadeldin from year 10A and I’m the Editorial writing head. I would like to start off by expressing my gratitude towards the GCS newsletter team and the head of the newsletter, Naomi Maetel for giving me a chance to explore my writing more through this wonderful opportunity. In the Editorial team we focus more on serious and formal articles that are informative and fun to read at the same time. In order to be a successful editorial writer, you need to have mastered your analysis skills as well as using non- colloquial language. As the head of the Editorial team, my role is to ensure that all articles are up to a certain standard and fit the theme/concept that we’re trying to carry out. I would describe myself as a very open minded person who’s willing to try new things and give everything a chance. Thank you!
